Beach Grove (formerly The AceTones) kicked the night off, bringing in their devoted followers as always! In MIB attire and alien followers they played a grand little set, their mix of indie coolness with a vibrancy of their own.

Before Stories have been making tunes, delivering angry monologues, alchemically shifting sadness to sound, giving us obscure samples and just wandering through the room for ten whole years now. Halfhead were totally new to me, raw, shouty, noisy post punk unhappy at the state of the world. Blew me away, totally up my alley on the heavy side of things and a wee sci-fi nod in their name brought a smile. Check 'em oot!
