Man of Moon are touring their new album MACHINISM, that came out earlier this year, and it's a great album, with post-rock, electronic and a hazy psychadelic sound throughout that culminates in a rad album that takes you on many journeys in the 40 minutes it takes to run through it.
We had the very cool Beach End from Edinburgh to kick the night off for us, and yeah, that he did. What a genre busting indie-surf-electo-pop it was. (I made up all of those as a best loose fit, I have no idea how they'd be described.)
They also have a new album out, and I'm giving it a blast while writing this post, it's a blast.

Man of Moon I caught for the first time last year after Iain joined on drums, I hadn't listened to them much, but support your pals eh? Thankfully it was right up my street, I love a bit of psych, post-rock experimental fun. This is a band to see live, everything about the sound is just elevated through the stage, especially with just a duo everything is enhanced, exaggerated and brings a new intensity to the sound.
