It's been a while since I was at Drummonds for a gig, and it's always a good one. The sound and lighting were absolutely the best I've heard in town for a long time, and the bands were on point as well!
The AceTones were up first, having been hibernating for the winter and they've not dropped a beat since I saw them last. A really groovy set from a talented bunch of young'uns.

Familiar Enemies followed with a sound straight from the Tony Hawks Pro Skater games :D Very much 00s alt/skate/emo vibes through their set. Affa nostalgic!

iODYNES rounded off the night, and I was truly gutted to have to bail before they finished their set! I canna quite point to any comparative sound, they call themselves 'Dark, Athemic Indie Rock' but if their music was dark, their stage presence was one of absolute joy. Definitely a band to check out!
